The Early Seeds of Understanding

My journey began not in a classroom or a laboratory but in the quiet moments of childhood meditation. Born into a middle-class, spiritually inclined family, I was fortunate to have a mother who recognized that my path would extend beyond traditional religious practices.

At eight years old, meditation was not a concept but a lived experience. By ten, I could enter deep meditative states for hours, a practice that would later become the foundation of my life's work. The Ramakrishna Mission became my extended classroom, where sannyasins became my first spiritual guides, introducing me to meditation techniques developed by Swami Vivekananda.

Scientific Curiosity Meets Spiritual Exploration

My academic journey led me to IIT-Gandhinagar, where I pursued a PhD in climate science. This might seem worlds apart from meditation, but for me, it was a natural extension of understanding complex systems - whether environmental or human.

During my postdoctoral research in Taiwan, a profound realization emerged. Beyond the scientific data and climate models, I witnessed a global mental health crisis that no traditional approach could fully address.
